For the workshop, the site and the workbench
You know your trade.
Talk2CAD does the design work.
Or straight from the chat: Talk2CAD as a connector in Claude.
Or take a ready-made part
and dial it in.
Three steps. No CAD, no supplier, no waiting.
Typed, sketched or photographed from the part you want to replace. In your words, with your measurements – nobody needs CAD jargon.
Talk2CAD builds the part, measures the finished model and checks that the shell is closed. If a dimension is off, you say so – the model gets changed, not re-rolled.
STL to the slicer, STEP to CAD, DXF to the cutter. The printer runs after work, and the part is in your case the next morning.
What the machine measures before you print. Measured, not promised.
from the described part to a print-ready file
From this deviation onwards a dimension is reported as a finding – every one is re-measured on the finished model.
Every model is checked for a closed shell before you download it
design building blocks – that you never have to learn
STL, STEP, SCAD and DXF – printer, CAM and cutting
for ready-made models and adjusting their dimensions
Honestly: every model is measured, but nothing is warranted by that. Whether a part really fits and holds in your application is something you check on the printed part – that is what the terms say too. Talk2CAD is a beta.
Jigs, assembly aids, drilling templates, extraction adapters, spare parts: the part nobody sells comes out of one sentence. Not a stopgap of scrap wood and cable ties, but a component with the dimensions you set yourself.
Sample parts to try out: each one free as an STL, with dimensions adjustable right on the model. Models published by users are added to these.

Describe your part. 50 generations on the house – and you see up front what comes after that.
