Talk2CAD for Plumbing

For plumbing and heating.

Between 22 and 28 lies exactly the size your pipe has.

The clamp does not fit, the rosette does not cover the wall opening, and the adapter between test pump and hose only exists as an improvisation with tape. Parts like these are small, uncritical and printed at once – if somebody designs them.

What you build with it

Six parts you cannot buy like that.

Pipe clamp and spacer

For 22, 28, 32 mm or the size in between. Wall distance freely selectable.

Cover rosette in a special size

Covers what the core drilling left behind – in two parts, so it fits over the pipe.

Adapter between two hose sizes

Measure both diameters, type them in, done.

Holder for a pressure gauge or meter

Clamps to the pipe and keeps the device in view while you work.

Template for the wall plate spacing

150 mm, level, without measuring three times.

Spare clip for the inspection hatch

Take one off, rebuild it, print four.

Ready-made models

Free as an STL. Dimensions adjustable right on the model – no account.

Staying honest

What a printed part can do – and what it cannot.

Not every part belongs in the printer

Nothing under operating pressure, nothing in drinking water, nothing permanently in hot water. A printed part has no approval, and the watertightness check in Talk2CAD checks the geometry of the model – it says the shell is closed, not that a component withstands ten bar. Holders, templates, rosettes, workshop adapters: yes.

Choosing the material

PETG for anything damp, ASA or ABS near heating. For parts on the flow side the rule is: the temperature of the pipe decides the material, not the price of the spool.

Frequently asked questions

Is the watertightness check a pressure test?

No, and that is an important difference. What is checked is whether the model is a closed shell without holes – the precondition for a slicer to process it cleanly at all. Whether a printed part withstands pressure depends on material, wall thickness and printer settings.

Can I have an existing part rebuilt?

Yes. Photograph it with a ruler next to it, or describe the dimensions. The more precisely you measure, the less you have to adjust afterwards.

What does it cost?

The finished models in the gallery and adjusting their dimensions cost nothing, even without an account. For your own parts you get 50 models free.

What are you waiting for?
Off to production.

Describe your part. 50 generations on the house – and you see up front what comes after that.
